Similar in habit to Japanese Tree Lilac with smaller darker green leaves and clusters of fragrant flowers which are slightly smaller and whiter contrasting nicely with the foliage. The bark is shiny, coppery colored and exfoliating with prominent lenticels similar to a cherry tree.

Similar in habit to Japanese Tree Lilac but with smaller, darker green leaves. The clusters of fragrant flowers are slightly smaller and more white, contrasting nicely with the foliage. Shiny, coppery bark exfoliates with prominent lenticels, similar to a cherry tree. Peking lilac can be grown either as a single stem or large multiple stemmed specimen. Native to China.
