PAEONIA itoh ‘Scarlet Heaven’ – Itohs are hybrids between tree peonies and herbaceous peonies. They are long lived with large flowers similar to tree peonies. The stems die back in the fall and must be cut back as with herbaceous peonies. ‘Scarlet Heaven’ has large 7-9″ lightly fragrant, single dark red flowers with golden centers. Mid-late bloomer.
