White flower clusters in late spring and clusters of white fruit in fall will remain effective for up to a month longer than C. racemosa. Works well for naturalizing, massing, screen, or border. When grown in tree form this specimen is far superior to C. racemosa because it forms only minimal suckers and a strong trunk and central leader. Native to eastern North America.
