A handsome specimen for large areas and formal plantings,  as it grows in a narrow column. Calocedrus decurrens has shiny, dark green, aromatic foliage that is similar in form to Arborvitae. This Cedar prefers moist, well-drained fertile soil in full sun or light shade. Best transplanted as a container tree due to its deep taproots. Native to Western North America.
