Spiny spikes of mauve pink and snow-white flowers with green and gray bracts appear in mid-summer. Easy to grow but hard to remove once established. A wonderful addition to beds and borders giving any garden a classic cottage feel. Can develop powdery mildew but is mostly pest-free.
